The Iora is a bassinet that can be placed at the bedside that helps parents feel closer to their child while they sleep. It adjusts upwards and downwards and can be moved through three slide positions to fit next to the bed of the parent or in the corner of the room, so that baby is always close to the parent's side. The mesh siding lets air flow through and allows you to see your baby quickly. And you can store more pajamas and other supplies in the large storage basket beneath.
The Iora is a smaller bedside crib that folds flat. It also comes with a travel case which allows it to be taken anywhere. Our mom testers found it easy to move from room to room and felt that it was a suitable size for a small bedside cot, not too big or too small. The large storage basket is perfect to store bedding and nappies.
This is a great option for parents who want to sleep in a co-sleeping bed, but don't wish to share their bed. If one of the partners has mobility issues such as arthritis or back pain. Our mums who tested it loved the ease with which they could access their child in the Iora and that it included an optional reflux incline that helped reduce gas.
Our moms also love the fact that the mattress is in line with NICE guidelines, which are to place the infant in the crib or Moses basket on its own (with no toys, blankets pillows, etc.). The mattress is also firm and comfortable for babies and sheets are readily available.
